Edmond Girasek graduated at the Eötvös Lóránt University (ELTE) as sociologist in 2006. His main interest is the research of human resources of health, migration of skilled healthcare workforce, and also quantitative methodology of sociology. He is a junior health policy researcher at the HSMTC.
During he was student taught quantitative metholody of sociology and took part the funding and actuation the Social Sciene College of ELTE.
His thesis was written about the career motivation of physicians, and he is working on his PhD thesis about this topic at the Doctoral School of Semmelweis University.
Edmond joined to the HSTMC team in January 2007. Recently he is working on the Human Resources for Health research programmes of the HSTMC, and the development and elaboration of Semmelweis University Alumni. Furthermore he teaches fundaments of management and social statistics for undergraduate students and resident doctors.
